Hi, I’m Vanessa! I manage The Catalyst’s social media - creating content that keeps our community connected and celebrates the work we do.

Outside The Catalyst, I manage socials for The Goodies Who Read and work as a freelance creative strategist, director and graphic designer. I love art and all forms of creating. I love experimenting with themes that merge culture, fashion, and narrative. I’m interested in exploring the fantasy world as I believe there is a lot of untapped potential when it comes to telling stories especially in Black spaces. I’m inspired by fantasy, theatre and horror which are elements I aim to implement in more of my work. I believe there’s beauty in the seemingly ugly and dark parts of us - with that comes more of an interesting story to tell.
